Just read part of the sunnimg up from Maguires defence team.
He says the testimonies pertaining to the bribery charge are very vague. “they didn’t specify what he wanted to pay.” He continues “they would never say ‘feck Greece,’ they love the country, and are keen on the ancient Greek culture.”

Manchester United said in a statement that Maguire's legal team will appeal against the verdict and "he continues to strongly assert his innocence". As Maguire left courthouse on the Greek island of Syros, he was quoted as saying "F__k you you Greek c___s. Don't you know who I am? It's such a shame that many footballers seem too dense to enjoy their fortunes in a classy way. Mykonos is a millionaire's playground. Beautiful island, nice beaches, great food, beautiful women. A stupid millionaire footballer arrives there with a few friends, they all get drunk and cause chaos and then start making up excuses.

This is what I’ve heard so far.
Maguire drunk enters Greek pub, asking a local girl to give it ‘Greek style’. She is mortified. Maguire then proceeds to throw a Pi in the tavern owner stavross’s face and calls him a Homer. A right fight breaks out, Maguire is hit on his achillies. Police arrive and Aristotle Maguire and friends, bringing an end to the oddessy. They tell him he’s up shiiit Crete without a paddle.
Maguire slapped the sheriff but he didnt salp the deputy
