Yeah fair points, he's been silent throughout, I guess he knows he's so young that the chance will be there again if nothing happens this summer.

It's a pain in the hole when transfers are dragged out with daily updates that are the same thing reworded.

What's going on now is similar to the Fernandes and Maguire transfers. We had fans protesting at Ed's house because we had walked away from the Fernandes deal. A few days later he signed. Negotiations were obviously still ongoing, but Ed seems to like to present this idea that he drives a hard bargain.

Why?

----------

Because he has been for the last 7 years despite what his number 1 fan the OP would have you think

----------------------------------------------------------------------

you need to look at arsenal and barca to realise what true incompetence is
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You think maguire is crap. Your opinion on football related matters are pretty pants bro.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And you write gloating articles when Ole beats relegation fodder but disappear otherwise.

Your opinion would matter if you were a somebody. But as you're a nobody... It doesn't.

no doubt someone will print a rumour in the next few days thst the transfers back on and the flies will on that steaming pile of cr@p

All of the Ed blaming here, is there even a slight possibility that Sancho didn't actually want to sign for united? He's at a pretty decent side right now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

according to Romano, the most trusted ITK (if you trust them), he wants to join

Businesses going bust like it’s going out of fashion, hundreds of thousands of people losing their livelihoods

We are living in unprecedented times

Yet there are people on this site having daily f4nny fits because United aren’t spending tens of millions on new players

Not so much this article but there are plenty of them

All the talk was BS wasnt it ?
++

Are you telling us or asking us?

posted on 26/8/20

The thing is if the Sancho deal is all BS then it would surely mean that the club have and always have had other targets that we should be sorting out and ideally should have sorted out weeks ago. We know that we probably will get some sort of deal done with players but it’s the timing and completely unnecessary time wasting that infuriated fans. This is Ed’s eighths summer window which would be a huge amount of experience for anyone else in the job yet he still looks like an idiot who has no idea what he’s doing or how deals are negotiated.

Deals can be put through during the transfer window. He has all year to actually negotiate. There's really no excuse for business not to have been done at this point.

No bid

No talks

Nothing from the player or his agent

Nothing from our manager

Yeah, let’s blame Ed.

You guys are hilarious.

Assuming you are right and Ed hasn't wasted weeks on the Sancho saga. What do you make of our lack of activity in the market?

It’s all too familiar.

Is a tough window this year and people will look to the bank of Woodward to dig themselves out of a hole so I wouldn’t blame Ed if he refused to be ripped off for a window or 2.

What should have happened by now in your opinion?

Form, injury, better offer, change in priorities, financial difficulties, price hike.

Lots of things can change quickly In football.

Well if we aren't concentrating on Sancho, I think we should have made a signing. Or at least have made some bids. It could be that we have made some bids that the media aren't aware of, but that's not really how we operate these days, so I'd be surprised.
