We need some legs in midfield. Too one paced with Milner and Wig. Arteta has made Arsenal much more solid. We need a bit of drive in the middle of the pitch.

Some nice moves but Bobby and Mo having little impact. Arsenal better side and they've another goal in them, Auba is absolute quality.

Think we've got what i expected. Klopp said a couple of days ago he didnt think it would be our best performance. When the manager is saying something like that you know we must be off the pace

or more bodies in the box on the end of the crosses. which have been our main threat. Wij needs to do something he just gets the ball n passes it under no pressure 5 yards backwards to Fabinho.

we were outnumbered 3 to 2 on that side anyway their mf made a run ahead wijnaldum and tierney overlap made it 2vs1 vs our young fullback, yeah he shouldnt allow aub to cut inside regardless but still we were in a pretty awful shape defensively lets be honest.

I have said many times our patern of play is too predictable which needs worldclass fullbacks. Our midfield players lack that passing creativity. Thiago is the solution to open those deep defences.

Seeing the goal again, Williams is too central gives auba too much space to receive the ball, great finish though

replays it was 5 vs 4.

An AMC would unlock these deep defences, thiago willl only work to unlock them on the counter, he plays deep and isnt going to be threading coutinho style balls, or offering a ranged threat to force them to step up..

Thiago is great, just not imo the player we need

Hes basically making the mistakes Trent was making when he started there

Yeah it's not Williams fault completely, several players not in the right position

Mane your Midfield atm is hard working but lacks a bit creativity but you FBs and attack give you that, Thiago would be a superb signing for you, just a bit different to what you have atm

our passing it too slow from midfield. Ball not getting to forwards quick enough. Thiago will bring that.

Definitely an element that our players and play is too predictable so we clearly need to freshen the squad up ✌️👌
