I don’t see it as bad tbh, local club so won’t be too far away from family etc and could provide some youth in their midfield as you say.
They have given opportunities to Zaha, awb and others at a young age as a club so could be good. If he has a good season another good dilemma for us Next year
Hope he gets enough games there - Milivojevic, McArthur & McCarthy is a great setup for the way Hodgson likes to play, Gallagher could wind up being the utility tool. But they did Loftus-Cheek good so have earned the benefit of the doubt.
I have family who support Charlton and Gallagher was superb there, fans loved him
Decent loan. Don’t like the football they play but he should get game time over there as their midfield isn’t all that.
Gallagher looked decent in his cameo last Friday. At least he'll get game time at Crystal Palace, a chance for him to gain valuable experience in the epl.
