On the ball as usual Gem.
Hard to know what will happen in the first match, but hope we get off to a flying start.

Two Premier League games on Monday with Brighton also at home to Chelsea. That game has already been selected for live coverage by sky so if a decision is taken to televise all games I suspect the Wolves game will be moved to 18:00
Sheff Utd were the surprise team of 19/20 and had a great first season back in the top flight. I will be surprised if they finish in the top half in 20/21 but the game on Monday will still be a tough start for us

with wingbacks being crucial to how we play and doc gone and maybe vinagre also can only see us coming second.
Referring to your second paragraph Gem, I do believe that many on here need to be patient when it comes to us finding new players. We've had talk on here as to whether Jef Shi will be as good as our previous recruiting staff. Well, I think he's answered that following the arrival of several new players.
It'll be interesting who Nuno starts off with against United, but it wouldn't surprise me if we go with 3-5-2. The only drawback with that is, we have a somewhat abundance of forwards right now and I know Nuno likes to try and keep everyone happy.
Anyway, I guess we'll have to see.

I'm not sure Nuno is that concerned about keeping everyone happy Wolfie. Hence why he starts with he same team most weeks. Ask Cutrone, Vinagre, Podence, Neto how difficult it is to break into Nuno's starting 11.
game now on sky, easier hopefully for dj

Not sure Jeff has proven much yet to be honest. We still need players(plural) and have we done anything here that hasn't involved Mendes?
Delighted this game is now to be televised. Hopefully some kind of arrangement will be put in place until full crowds are allowed back into grounds. Hope an arrangement will also be made for the Carabao Cup, maybe via pay as you go on Wolves tv
With the uk now banning groups of more than 6 people gathering, due to an increase in Covid cases, difficult to see a return of crowds to football stadiums anytime soon

It's on Sky Pick as well, so free to view. ๐
I think there are going to be some exceptions to the 6 people rule DJ, and sporting events is likely to be one. Also think I’ve heard something about all September Premier League games being televised.
So a pub can have 50 groups of 5 people. A sporting event can have thousands of people turn up. Schools are back with chaos around pickups and drop offs.
But two families of two parents and two children can't meet up.
Think that’s right Tam ๐ pi$$ up and brewery come to mind ....

no it's not
After originally announcing the game was to be broadcast on free-to-air channel Pick, a revised schedule has confirmed the match will instead be shown on Sky Sports.

exactly like you to be a brainless simp
With the transfer business seemingly done and dusted for now we have a thinner squad than we had last season.
I suspect we will start on Monday with something like this:
Patricio
Boly, Coady, Marcal
Vinagre, Traore
Neves, Moutinho, Dendoncker
Jimenez, Jota
If so the bench would probably be:
Ruddy
Kilman
Saiss
Vitinha
Neto
Podence
Silva
Don’t think that will be far off gem. Guess the question marks will be Marcal or Saiss, and Jota or Podence
Not sure we have a thinner squad Gem. 3 new arrivals and 1 departure. Granted, Jony is out for a while and Morgan Gibbs-White has gone, but I suspect the 3 new arrivals will all get more game time than MGW did. Don't expect a large senior squad with Nuno and to have finished 7th in our two seasons back with the players Nuno works with, bodes well. Let's not forget that we don't have the additional European matches either.
So I feel we'll at least reach 7th, or even better this season.
