Presumably it is an Eriksen situation. In the hit his head does twist a little bit weirdly actually, not sure if that had some weird effect.

Wonder if he ruptured a main artery or something like can happen in a hard collision like a car accident. Just hit in the right spot perhaps. Pretty tough to repair that and certainly life threatening.

Honestly, I'm surprised it doesnt happen more in the NFL tbh. Its such a 0 to 100% intensity sport and a lot of the athletes have so much mass (and lets be honest most of them do or have done PEDs) - it is such a strain on the heart!

It is similar in that he collapsed but that is about it. This certainly was triggered by the impact you would assume, compared to the footy ones we have seen which have stemmed from prior undetected issues.

Looks like game is cancelled. Good decision.

People have taken it as him being more concerned with what is gonna happen to the game..

Obviously emotions are high. The last line in Skips tweet makes me think he wasn’t being as insensitive as it’s being made out, but he really should’ve read back his tweet before posting.
