Lines played a blinder, ran the midfield, played good passes to the strikers and hit a shot against the bar, he started on the right with JOC in the middle with Semdeo then at about the half hour mark they switched and the move paid dividends.

I dont think that Meggy would still want COG and RL as a first choice, given Madines form and qualities, yes he may have brought them in as a potential first choice pairing as Madines form wasnt so great last season but given GM's form now (9 in 11) I dont think he see's it like that now, more of a case of who partners GM now.

Lines was MOTM on Saturday. He sprayed the ball round intelligently and looked like the player we have been looking for for years. Let's hope he can play like that every week.

Madine has to be first choice. It is a question of whether Lowe or COG gets the first chance to play alongside him.

JOC was very poor, particularly in the first half when he gave the ball away repeatedly. He wasn't so bad in the second half because the other players didn't pass him the ball. The other three in midfield carried the team so we affectively won with ten men. If he picks him again on Saturday, we probably won't be so lucky.

low blow Tez. Low blow

Lines was incredible saturday Wal. Semedo did well, as did Buxton and the goal machine.

I was impressed with COG when he came on. Looked a bit rusty but he has one hell of a first touch and looks strong powerful player. Lowe didn't have the ball enough to judge but I am optimistic about him as well

Tez4life I don't have a clue what you are on about but once again thanks for the input x
Maybe the best option at present would be Madine and COG, he from what I have heard is pacey, not something we have enjoyed for a while now.

I hope we don't go down the route of trying to play all 3 like back in the day when we had Hirst, Bright and Warhurst and didn't know who to play, it just didn't work!

PS, I don't ever recall looking at the top scorer of the league and seeing 2 Owls players taking up top spots, a refreshing change

you didn't say the top 2 spots though so I assumed you meant just on the list of top scorers.
