But it's the way Ole has approached it though. Some of the best young players ever have had it all too easy, too soon at their clubs.
Owen, Thompson + Fowler at Liverpool to name a few. Weak management saw them just stay at a good level, they weren't being pushed to improve etc.
Absolutely amazing management, the sheer insight to instruct a footballer to head a ball better is astounding. I reckon he might tell him that he has to improve on how many goals he scores next, what do you think?
Whilst identifying Greenwood to head a ball better is good, a) can Solskjaer improve that and b) how will that be the difference between him going from being a good, promising forward to a top class one?
To be an effective number 9, nevermind a top one, you don't have to be a complete forward. You just have to excel in what you're good at. Take your strengths to another level. The likes of Suarez and Aguero aren't exactly what I'd describe as complete forwards, but they just excel at what they are good at.
Greenwood has raw pace and he's a lad who knows where the net is. Whilst his heading ability will need to improve, would it not be wise to try and improve his strengths to the next level?
