Gotta say other than on twitter (which is an abyss of negative hell), I don't see this wave of anti-Lampard sentiment. What I do see is people questioning some of his decisions, some more harshly than others, and some fans believing it means more than it does... stop overreacting, spoilt fans, etc...
The ironic thing about this is knowing Lampard's personality that we saw as a player/in public as a manager, he'll be his own harshest critic regardless of what anyone else says - first thing he said after yesterday's result was it's two points lost & he visibly looked shaken up.
If Lampard Out starts creeping into more emotionally balanced settings, 100% with you, but right now all I'm seeing is criticisms and, at worst - fears & anxieties - standard Chelsea fan stuff

I don't use Twitter that much but lots of Chelsea groups on FB etc are becoming negative over him.
But my point is that we knew he was novice when he took over and should be expecting some erratic decisions from time to time.
He faced one set of problems last season, this season he faces a totally different set of circumstances, of which he has to come to terms with. When all the squad including new players become available to him, I'm expecting it to become more challenging but a challenge I'm sure he'll relish.
He needs that time to work out what he has at his disposal this season and how best to utilise it.
Nicely balanced view Brummie I very much concur - but football fans eh?

The modern day, "I want success and I want it now" brigade!
The modern day Chelsea fan has been so spoilt by success, many of them don't know anything else. We're putting together a new team so time and patience are absolutely key here.
We still haven't even been able to play three of our new signings in the PL yet. Four if we sign Rice. And we have Pulisic to come back as well.
Once we have all these players available and gelling together we're going to go up the gears significantly but these things naturally take time.

Put me down for that also.
I like the fact that (like me) he spotted that once again Alonso was not marking for the third goal. Another one like Kepa that needs to be moved on.
I’ll stand by him other than if he plays alonso, which leaves me unable to defend him. It is career suicide and we all want frank to succeed.
It's good to have positive debate about all things Chelsea.
I think most of the criticism at this moment,is more frustration than anything, which is understandable to a degree when you see the players we have.
We just have to be patient and stand behind Frank and the team,I have no doubts this team will be top drawer over the next 2 or 3 years.

Yeah I agree, it's the high of our summer with all the new faces leaking out after a slightly sobering start. It's illogical but emotions always are.
We need one big performance to get that unanimous positive energy back. Beating Spurs conclusively could be the tonic

Nick, I think that once Chilwell is fully fit we won't see Alonso again, I hope so at least, otherwise you certainly have a point.

This summer of spending makes patience all the more imperative - did anyone think all these signings were going to walk straight into the team and gell straight away?

I certainly didn't Brummie, but even if I did only three of our new signings have played in the PL so far. The other three signings haven't even been available to play yet. And when you factor that Pulisic is unavailable at the moment as well you realise that we're a ways off being remotely ready to hit the high gears yet.
I repeat, we need that one big performance where we're the better team from start to finish to ease frustrations & anxieties, cos I do believe that's all this is on the whole.
For the amount fans will jump to the defense of players & management (rightfully of course), sometimes I don't understand why fans can't have a little more faith in their fellow fans? They have good & bad days just like players & managers, don't they deserve the same leeway to make mistakes? Not be accused of fickleness or being spoilt on a whim which is the equivalent of saying a player/manager isn't good enough after a few performances! In a nutshell that's where I'm coming from here.
Hello brum, couldn't agree more, I really do feel once the new players do bed we will be alright, last season was an over achievement in my eyes and Lampard should be given time to bed in his recruits and we shall be fine.
Hi LO, hope you're well.
The new signings have to be given time to acclimatise to their new surroundings and team mates though.
I don't see us challenging for major honours this season, from my stand point we've invested in a project that will take time to bear fruit (just as Liverpool have [unfortunately]).
