I don't think his mind games have any impact any more to be fair. He's become a caricature of himself and a lot of fans just see him as a bit of a joke now.

You just need to put doubt in people's mind and whether they mean to or not it can influence people. Doesnt matter who is saying it, it's out there.

Doesn’t make a difference with VAR. This isn’t a ploy to get inside the officials head anyway. It’s just Mourinho being a pisssy little biiiitch and making excuses before he’s had the chance to fail.

it does as there is still interpretation as to hand ball or intent or whether contact is sufficient to be a foul or whether it's dangerous play or not...ultimately when the ref goes to the tv screen its then his judgement. He could have not given that pen today and most would see it as being in accordance with the guidance in terms of unnatural position and also with the player looking away. 2 things he should have interpreted in Spurs favour but did not..

Also you will find a soft penalty is not over turned but also a soft penalty appeal is rarely successful....so if he doesnt give it in the first instance it's likely not to be a penalty. All these things are interpretation and judgement which can be influenced as they are human.

I know you want that to be the case but it really isn’t. The lack of crowd is the thing that will have an impact on this. Not Mourinho whingeing about a correct decision in a United game, and Spurs not having a big history meaning their schedule is facked.

The new mind games is uploading malware to the VAR system.

Abramovic is on it, for sure.

Villa’s owner did that to the goal line technology.
