Last 12 months he's been poor and made lots of mistakes. Clearly VVD is a top defender but he isn't as good as he was in 2018 and 2019
Good age, we just need a LB now and the rest of our players to be fit.
I wasnt impressed by Van Dyke when Liverpool played Napoli last season.
Made at least one bad error in each game that resulted in us scoring.
If this works out the same as City's other recent defensive purchases then not much to worry about. Portuguese league to Premier League is a big jump.

Yep, all City fans are fully aware of the this. I'm sure most of would rather have not gone for someone playing in the Portuguese league again, its got to work some time, hasn't it!

Risky signing when you look at players like Ederson, Bruno Fernandes or Cristiano Ronaldo who all struggled after making that move.
tbf, the standard of defending in the Portuguese League is probably higher than it is in the PL right now.

Ederson has never been convincing yeah. Let's see how Bruno does in his first full season, he made a promising start. Ronaldo is an exception.

LB and a midfield work horse who can cover a lot of ground to partner Rodri.
Fernandinho's legs are gone.
