Pots 3 and 4 are pretty weak. Barca and Man C in pot 2 makes it interesting. All pot 1 teams bar Zenit should waltz through.

There is usually a group of death with 3 top teams and one minnow. Then there is usually a group of life as well where all 4 teams are of a similar level and you have no idea who is what seed if you didn't know. It contains Porto or Zenit anyway.

Group of death:

Bayern
Barca
Inter
Midgetland

Group of life:

Zenit
Shakhtar
Leipzig
Marseille

Our best chance of European silverware and our best chance of being in next year's CL both require coming 3rd in our group, IMO

Would prefer to get Barca or Atletico in groups than knock outs.

I don't want Juventus. I don't want to play against Ronaldo, it's too much heartbreak.

Unless of course, we make a late bid for him and send Pogba to them.

That’s true, but what if you got redstar and atletico? That would leave you with 9 points at very best, would it be enough?
