If we had signed 2 or 3 players already, and were still trying to sign Sancho as late as possible, i could accept that.
But the fact we've only signed VDB, we are in a pretty pathetic state to be going into the last few days looking to buy a few players, and move some on.

It's feeling like a bit of a non event now really... I'll save up my anger until after deadline day, as things can change quickly and if we end up with Telles and a quality forward addition, all is good... But it's frustrating, no doubt.

In terms of a right winger, I think we'll probably only sign a stop gap on loan, in the (forlorn) hope of getting Sancho next summer.

I think we should walk away from sancho, he’s not worth the money imo. Infact we should have a long time ago and persued a couple of positions, and had them wrapped up by now..

If it's true we're wasting time then I'd agree with you. I don't think he's worth that from what I've seen either. However, people who have watched him much more than me say he'd be ideal for our right forward role so I'd have to bow down to their intel.

I very much agree with your last bit though. We should have wrapped some stuff up much earlier but I suppose that's down to the exits as well. Hopefully, as more of the 'old guard' leave it'll get easier in future transfer windows.

We will get Telles, a young fast CB and then Sarr after the window closes and we fail to sign Sancho.
