Dunno how that was 4-0, felt like nothing was really happening either end but efficiency in front of goal is a good sign
For the people that ask what does Jorginho actually bring to us I would suggest that they watch that game again. As always giving the player with the ball options by running into space and spraying the ball about short and long. Only just behind Chilwell for MOTM for me.
I still just don't like his penalty style though, but what can I say, he rarely seems to miss with it.
Yeah Jorginho in under rated by Chelsea fans
Here’s why Busby
1st half they, had every player behind (barr Zaha), hoping to catch Chelsea on the counter. Chelsea had majority of possession, but was not moving the ball quick enough in the final third.
2nd half, Palace still sat back despite falling behind, Zaha isolated on his own, few defensive mistakes.
Chelsea moved the ball with more urgency and purpose that’s why they deservedly won.
It was a game of defence vs attack. Palace had no shots on target, Whereas Chelsea had 6.

Indeed he is.
That was a genuine "be patient spoilt brats" performance (if someone complained about it). Despite not clicking into gear we were unquestionably the best team over the entire 90 mins.
A lot of posters getting unfair stick IMO the last few weeks. That was a performance where I'd understand said stick more, a bit awkward in large spells but under control
Main criticism thrown at him is that he’s slow and physically weak for the epl.
If you give him time and space, he’ll cause some damage.
Definitely a more mature performance today, keeping shape well and not conceding individual errors. We were obviously a tad fortunate for a couple of the goals but were good value for the win. Good performances from Thiago and Chilwell as well which shows early promise for our leaky defence! I thought tactically we were much better.. I've been frustrated recently by every error leading to a goal, but in part that's to do with poor defensive discipline and shape which was much improved today

Thiago cant chage our defence overnight but he will change it, i hope Tomori gets some time on the pitch with Thiago a great defender to learn from.
back to another thiagos fantastic record performance against our 10 men, today in the first half Zouma almost broke that record still with totally worthles passes as did Thiago , just a bit of context there
Balanced and professional performance. Very encouraging

A lot of 'fans' deserve the critisism in my opinion (not talking specifically on here), some of the half time comments I read on Facebook at 1313hrs this afternoon were quite frankly pathetic.
Liverpool are four years into a project with Klopp - we're about 4 games in with a much changed lineup from last season.
Today we completely dominated a team with a reputation for defensive resilience and recently went to Ol Trafford and convincingly beat Utd - we've gone and beat them 4 nil and still there are people expressing dissatisfaction.
Maybe it's me because I came from a time when Chelsea fans took pride in supporting the team through hell and high water but I just don't understand what some of modern breed of football fan expect!

It could well be a generational thing this, but there's nothing wrong with asking questions & expressing doubts as a part of fandom, it's all in the tone & veracity of the critics. So far not seen anything on here via Lampard that crosses the boundaries into pathetic by my threshold, yet.
