He was a futsal player Bute, bit different to playing on a computer.

Is it though

He does look very assured on the ball as you expect from someone skilled in the futsal arts

Our problem is we are so negative. We pee about at the back and always allow the opposition time to organise.
Got away with it today, but why do we allow the other side to dictate the last 20 minutes.
Hopefully the break will allow things to get sorted out, my nerves can't stand it.
For me Coady was MOTM.

Regarding the left side of our defence i can't imagine Nuno going with two inexperienced youngsters on that side in Kilman AND Ait Nouri.

Surely it would be either Kilman and Marcal or Saiss and Ait Nouri(an Angers double act)

Can’t say I’ve ever watched a futsal game but must carry some of the same basic skills as needed in football. Kilman was an England international I think. Every time he has played for the first team he has looked calm and assured. I’d be surprised if he didn’t keep his place after today.

There was promise at times from Semedo today and both times Hoever has come on he has done well. Marcal looked steady before his injury and hopefully Ait Nouri will be a good signing. I do think having good and settled wing backs will help us no end as those positions are key in the way we play

Ait Nouri has signed

As good as Kilman was I'd agree with boston, Coady was motm for me. Neto was the pick of the forwards but don't think anyone had any more than a 7/10.

Curious comment from Nuno here

“Anything can happen,” Nuno said. “It is not about who is coming in it is about who is going out. That is what worries me the most.”

There weren’t many good performances today. Patricio cuts out crosses so easily to keep the pressure off. Coady has improved so much as a defender and his distribution is so important to us. Kilman looked very calm and collected. Boly had a quiet game.
Neto is such a good prospect and I would say his final ball is what he needs to work on most. Jimenez got no supply or support for the most part today. Semedo showed quality at times and will surely be a good signing. We do look more solid with Dendoncker instead of Moutinho nowadays. I love Neves but it wasn’t his best game today. No criticism of Saiss who was just out of position. Podence strangely anonymous and maybe not fit. Moutinho and Traore added nothing when they came on but I thought Traore should have come on earlier because he is at his most dangerous when the opponents are pushing forward

Agree with most of that DJ, only comment is that Jimmy does not look himself. Is the baby keeping him awake ?

Yeah though Jimenez didn't have much support he was poor when he did get on the ball making some poor decisions. Probably a bit frustrated though given he is on his own a lot of the time.

Nobody was terrible today, but nobody was great either.

Sky are an absolute joke these days, having that nutter Evra on all day as pundit is crazy enough, but all the post match chat had been about United no praise or analysis of Tottenham. Then flicked over to SSN and they're still going on about Sancho to United! They're completely obsessed, it's bizarre.

Gift for Villa.

Wasn’t sure about Watkins but he’s looking good tonight

35 minute hat trick against the champions, can't argue with that.

Liverpool totally outplayed really. Strangely the last time that happened in the Premier League was against Watford

Mad day, goals flying in left right and centre, not so much at molineux

Depressing watching even mediocre sides knowing how to actually attack and punish sloppiness

Do we have to add Villa to that list of teams that look like they're going to finish above us?

posted on 4/10/20

I think it will be close. They will be around that mid table mark

WTF !!!
Been out for a meal, come back and villa beating Liverpool 7-2 !!!

posted on 4/10/20

To be fair, it's about time a team took their chances against Liverpool. There have been a fair few games in the last year where the opposition has fluffed it against them.

This Liverpool side is nothing special anyway, just taking advantage of some poor rivals and being very well disciplined.
