Football’s a funny old game. The latest is that the bloke that was keeping Cavani out of the squad towards the end of his PSG career - Choupo-Moting - will being on a free to Bayern Munich, and PSG will be getting Moise Kean on loan to replace their outgoing forward.

David Moyes Kean was terrible. But I guess there’s always a club for once hyped players. Maybe we can pray that Mbappe, Neymar and Icardi all get injured in the coming fortnight and Kean starts against us.
Would still probably score 😂

Saint.
And yes, I'm old enough to remember broken biscuits...saint and greavsie, broken biscuits, jumpers for goalposts, marvellous.
David Moyes Kean
Given how PSG seem to suffer quite a few injuries that isn’t actually the wildest prediction. They beat Real Madrid 3-0 last year without Neymar and Mbappe.
Nothing smug about it, and Ole was quite clear on the type of player he wants. This isn't an Ole signing
.......
People are reading way too much into this. Ole knows as well as anyone else that you have to have some experience in the team.
Yes most of his signings will be young but he will still sign older players as well. And Covid and Ed’s incompetence have forced this one on him.
Unless you lot are happy with Ighalo.
"Manchester or Chelsea"
Well that ambiguous, City or United?
Not that ambiguous, foreigners have always called us Manchester.
He’s here for a final payday, and the club have brought him in as Ed thinks because he’s a big name he’s going to silence the fans growing anger of another inept summer.
---
Give it a rest. It's a covid-19 hit summer. Our targets have been clear but we don't have the finances to close them.
It happens. Not everything is a inept.
Cavani is coming for 2 years and won't be the highest earner at the club. I'm sure he could have gone to the middle east somewhere else if he wanted to earn more.
Facts are Ole wanted a striker, he got a striker. Martial first choice, Edinson as rotation or for those games against low blocks.
storm in a teacup
Even with Sancho we'd struggle against certain teams like City do. We can't have too many attackers with the same attributes.
Not convinced that everybody in the world especially outside Europe are aware yet that there are two clubs in Manchester
I know it's been talked about to death, but I'll put my two cents into this.
An embarrassing signing, considering he has been a free agent for a while and we've shown absolutely no interest.
The one silver lining I seemed to have for the club was that, even though they were not over-paying for their first choice, at least they weren't bringing in their third, fourth or fifth choice.
I wish Cavani success, but when he's here for a season, play about 25 games, it's hard to be invested.

We really should have held a virtual funeral for him on here
Not everything is a inept.

It usually is where Manchester United are concerned.
His stats for PSG are fantastic so let's hope he can carry that on for us.
Don’t think it’s that bad a signing tbh. Not what I would have been hoping we’d be doing at this point, but he brings experience, high work rate and goals. Could be worse.
Could be worse, along with wants to play for the club seems to be what qualifies a decent signing at United nowadays.
We’re building quite a squad
Meh
Could be worse
Wants to play for the club
Penalty
He’s 17 so Rosso thinks will be world class
We just need Own Goal to re-sign and we’re set

Can’t argue
It’s the nature of the deal that’s a shambles. Why not have signed him ages ago and why pay an agent fee for a free transfer. Basically they’ve fecked up the sancho deal and this is panic stations.
Don’t forget young and hungry.
Pride, it’s also the nature of his injuries and how that impacts the level he’s capable of producing. He hasn’t even trained for months, let alone played a competitive game.
If we view it as a short term solution, which you’d think we do, it’s not exactly the best short term solution when he’s going to be so off the pace from the start.
I was joking about us doing it, but I’d have actually preferred us to sign Josh King.
Maybe the club isn't planning on Ole staying on for the long haul. Ole made it clear what signings he wanted and Clueless Ed made a mockery of it. If we have a sub-par season - Ed and our wonderful board of idiots will blame Ole and sack him. We'll get another Jose-type (he's not so special anyway) and we will flounder for another 5-6 years until we get a proper manager again.
Rinse and Repeat.
I knew Sir Alex's time was special, but I ever expected this.
I can't recall the poster who always chimes in with "I can't wait for this season to end" but honestly - I can't wait for this season to end.

You called?
I don’t think the club’s incompetence in the transfer market is indicative of their plans for how long Ole stays in the job.
It is shaping up to be a funny old league this season.
Liverpool to win it at a canter the rest who knows. Leicester give City a good drubbing and are currently getting beat by West Ham.
