The rot started with Moyes.

We have been playing catch up since.

Ole has done a great job sorting out certain issues. But he was never going to be the one taking us to the top level.

I have no ill will towards ole. He has done his job. Now it's time to get a proper manager/coach

A new manager won’t do a thing.

Problems are higher up. Fans who actually have any sort of understanding of the club realise this.

And before you go on a rant about Ole, he inherited a shiiitshow from Mourinho and hit his target of CL qualification last year playing the best footy we’ve seen since SAF left.

The club (as they have done for the past 7 years) have let the manager down this summer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Poch would 100% get more out of your squad. Tactically and mentally.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s a weird group hypnosis that thinks otherwise.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where do you think Poch would have finished last season? I don't think he'd be any higher than 3rd. He might have accrued a few more points.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

66 points last season is hardly something to be hugely proud of. Poch had a style of football that would get fans excited about the direction the side was going and we’d hopefully see the competency that Spurs fans saw from 2015-2019 which was very good.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't think Poch side's are exciting to watch at all myself.

It’s the way the game is played in modern football so why not get a modern manager like Poch?

The problems are at board level and sacking Ole would just be the start of another cycle.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It would be. But I suppose the question could and probably should be asked as to if we were to sort out the structure of the club, whether Ole would actually be good enough to win trophies and take the club back to the top. I doubt it. So, just because the structure and board are a problem, that doesn't mean that the manager is good enough. It's not mutually exclusive
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don’t think anyone has suggested that Ole is the man to lead us to glory, but are of the view that he would leave the squad in a better state with young talented players as opposed to the team he inherited. Because he gets what Man Utd are about. Sadly our recruitment ‘team’ has been messing around this summer. Let’s be realistic, we aren’t getting close to winning the title regardless of the manager with the current squad.

It’s when that squad is closer to being what we want is when the board need to decide who is the best manager/coach to take us to the next level.

I'm not a fan of Poch either and am not saying get him in.

However we need someone who offers more than ole.

I don't get the owners issue either, yes they maybe parasites but heck so is levy and so is likes of ashley at newcastle but even Bruce has the team playing to their ability

Our players are not playing to their ability regardless of ownership and that is a coaching/management issue

It’s a bit disingenuous to look at the final couple of months of a reign where a manager had taken the side as far as he could with the limitations on him and judge him on that

Despite that pretty much every Spurs fan would have him back tomorrow and I’m sure Levy would one day rehire him.

The guy is without question a superb manager and has had a year off so no doubt is fresh and recharged for a new challenge.

He's not getting a press from matic and Pogba... He'll not press high with maguire at the back... We've no attacking full backs

He'll need a totally different style of play to his spurs side

Not against him... Just don't believe he's the messiah you think he is

If he gets the job it'll be another slow rebuild and he's likely to be let down by Ed and Judge too
