If they are concerned about this game from a health perspective then surely the ideal time to have it would be in the middle of a lock down.

I mean you fine the employer and impose a restriction on their trade when an employee goes native and engages in a stupid, selfish but essentially unpreventable act.

football clubs should be allowed some fans in imo, if they the exercise caution, temps checked, distancing etc.

No reason for the OF not to go ahead the players are in their bubble and tested regularly.

This is just scaremongering cause Celtic are feart to face Rangers without 55,000 smelly fans in the stadium

The football scene in Scotland is getting absolutely nothing.

In all her time as First Minister, Sturgeon has had one short meeting with rangers and not even a single discussion with Celtic. In all her time.

Now I realise that Scottish football doesn't contribute billions to the economy but to think that it doesn't employ many hundreds if not thousands and also impacts on hundreds of thousands of lives is sheer ignorance in the extreme.

Sounds like she's doing an update to Holyrood tomorrow, which would give a few days notice about it if it's going the way it seems.

The issue about the Celtic v Rangers game appears to be more about people going to pubs to watch the game, rather than anything to do with the teams themselves.

Reading about what measures other countries are taking with their 'circuit breaks', they don't seem to make much sense. Closing some pubs, unless they agree to enhanced sanitary measures and close at 10pm. Restaurants that sell alcohol can stay open?!

Also, Sturgeon said today she has no intention of going to part time learning for the school kids - and I can't remember the other wording she used, but I took from it that they'll be back after the school week's holidays?!
