I think we should be joint top
Both Liverpool and Man U, are at sixes and sevens !

I think we need to add another * to Liverpool’s Premier League Title*

plenty of time in the season left for that
I said before the season started that we’d see a whole bunch of crazy results and very little consistency this term, from top to bottom.
I don’t see any teams barring maybe Liverpool churning out results, and expect there to be a monumental midtable scrap.
couldn't beat a team that have been in depths longer than Davy Jones

Ditto
We were a complete shambles yesterday
Let’s just say that neither of the PL’s biggest teams and Leicester covered themselves in glory this weekend but I think our 7-2 gubbing is probably to worst result of any team for quite a long time.
Having said that, it’s how a team responds to a result like that which is a bigger indicator than the result itself.
Fun weekend, could be a mad season.

🤣
3 and 4 are marginally more weird than 1 and 2.
United have been ripe for that kind of result for a long time. One fit, or not on loan, EPL level defender, no goalscoring striker and a weak gk will inevitably hamper both defending and scoring. Under SAF, for example, if spurs had scored 6 there would be a better than average chance United would have scored 7. This front line = no chance.
Liverpool are the weakest epl champions (bar Leicester) since the days of blackburn. And everything went right for villa yesterday. Last season lfc were outplayed so often by their opponents, but just without the run of play working against them. It caught up with them yesterday, as these things often do.
Leicester losing at home and city's limp performance were far more significant.
although United clearly have the most significant playing personnel issues.

What a ridiculous comment. City lost 5-2 last weekend ffs and they got a draw this weekend.
Weakest PL champions with 99 points. Course...
Worst result for a team in the PL era was ours yesterday sadly.

Why’d you have to spoil a decent article with this utter feckwittery?
I would guess that if you replied to this then you’ve been Barry’d 😀 So that then includes me 🤣
Only a matter of time till Arsenal get a hammering. It could very well be against Man City in a few weeks
Sorry I was referring to the Moyes on the couch comment. 👏
Liverpool are a very good side playing one game a week full strength
When they have to play every three days they struggle
See Chelsea in Cup and Atletico
