yeah great job Ed and Matt... wait until the last day rather than getting these new guys in before the start of the season
Great transfer dealing from United
Good job Ed
No, you didn't get ripped off.
who is this new manager, person.
Sorry to be negative, but I don’t see how it was a good window. Priority positions were CB, DM and RW. Two were untouched and the other we got two young players who surely won’t have much of an impact this season. I don’t know if any of them improves, or even goes straight into, the first XI. Maybe Telles.
I can understand the wisdom of signing an established goalscorer for the short-term, but with Martial suspended it would be nice to have him ready now and I’m not sure Cavani will be.
Awful window. And results on the pitch will be all the evidence we need of that. They already have been so far
When all the ins and outs, with more outs to come potentially, how much investment has been actually made in this window by the owners?

given the fee received for Smalling about £55mil give or take. Oh and whatever singing on fee we gave cavani.
The owners don't pay for transfers. The club pay with their own money.
The good news is that your ITK source at the club only got it wrong by four signings!
I dont think we bought the right players in on the whole, but the timing of them stinks to high heaven.
we had months to do the cavani deal especially.
Cavani was offered to multiple clubs for the last month - just as an fyi - no other club went in for him

But if the owners own the club, isn’t the club’s own money the owner’s own money?

CB - Maybe. But I cant think of a stand out candidate available. Plus Ole should be able to get a good CB pairing from the 6 we have.
DM - Nah. Not for me. We have Fred, Matic, McTom capable of playing that role. Again, Ole Should be able to coach one of them into performing that role.
RW - In Greenwood and James we have 2 very exciting talents there. Adding another would have hindered them both. I look forward to Ole improving James.

No. The club isn't a piggy bank for the Glazers to dip into.

Ahhh, the 'i have no argument to this point so il pretend I do but its succcchhhhhh a good argument that I won't make it response'.
Do these signings improve on the shambles we've seen so far?
Cavani and Telles should add a different dimension in attack. The rest stay on the bench. We still can't defend, and doubt we'll change much tactically.
