I think a good window considering the epidemic, i thought this would be something celtic would use as a means to not spend and tbh i think many would have been on board with it.
That said.
Barkas
Duffy
Laxalt
Turnbull
Ajeti
2 loans but i think they are strong players, not bit parts.
I'd have liked forster again, he's the best keeper I've ever seen at Celtic and you are always confident he will save a penalty, that said i think Barkas is starting to settle.
The one thing we didn't get which i think was a must was another winger.
Johnston is unreliable in terms of fitness unfortunately so i think we are a bit short in that department.
Most importantly, we kept everyone we had to keep, though 2 of them need a right boot in the baws - Ntcham and Eddie.
All in all though, a good window.
As a footnote - cannot stress enough how impressed i was with Klimala's attitude for his goal on Sunday - 99/100 would take the foul. One i'm prepared to give time to develop based on that alone.
This was an article till i noticed you done one, so i copied and pasted
would've loved another winger mate, I was hoping for another centre half as well
seen that boy Mark McKenzie tweeting late last night thought we might've been signing him
no excuses now, we've spent money, not sold anyone
it's down to Lennon and the players
We've definitely strengthened in this window. 👍
Best signing for me is Ajeti, he's an absolute poacher and will get 20+ this season.
Relieved we managed to get a 13 year old lassie just back from Benidorm with her family, at left back.
i don't think we will ever see the best out of ntcham at celtic, i don't think lennon knows how to use such players and i certainly don't think he knows how to develop them.
we require a winger that can unlock a packed defence like roberts used to, closest we have to that is frimpong.
Ntcham has been like this since he joined Celtic
in and out the team
inconsistent
his stats are similar at Genoa, only started half the games the 2 seasons he was there
A good window by any standards.
Something still isn’t right though. Will be interesting to see the reactions from Ntcham (I think his head will drop) and Edouard (hopefully gets his head in gear).
Their response may make all the difference.

Nah. I’m not buying that mate. Ntcham has been like this for years.
he was pretty young at genoa to be fair.
he's a baller but he's not direct enough for my liking, he should dominate the midfield but he doesn't and when given a run of games this year he has slowed us down.
i thought brown was a difference maker on sunday, he's the leader on the park.
Ntcham has flashes of absolute genius and we all know the level he can play at. Unfortunately he's not consistant enough which is very frustrating.
Hopefully him and Eddy will get their heads up and smash it this season.
a few weeks back I didn't think McGregor was doing enough, since then he has scored a few and really improved which is huge, he is crucial to our success.
ntcham can have f... all complaints about being dropped.
I don't think you can blame Lennon for Ntcham, he was like that under Rodgers when again we were saying we don't get the bests out of him consistently.
Ntcham is a talented player but doesn't do it enough. When he does it is beautiful to watch.
It looks to me like Lennon has clearly identified our deficiences and acted - tough CB, Left back, GK, Striker
it's not necessarily just ntcham though, he doesn't improve players imo
i think burke was a good example of this, you could see what Rodgers was trying to do with him and in flashes he looked good, as did Weah.
Lennon comes along and couldn't do f... all with them, he's very good at motivating players and by all accounts seems to impress potential signings with his passion and vision for the club.
Is he going to coach them to improve their game though? I don't think so.

I'm sorry but at no time did Weah look good
Even though he did score a few super dooper goals with his super good teammates giving him super special passes
I hope he plays against us cos he's shiete
Anyway absolutely delighted with Laxalt
He's a joy to watch on YouTube
Looks to have plenty in his locker
Also have to say some of the tweets circulating about him are very cruel but very funny

Same with Burke.
He was, and always will be, a haddie.
Pleased with all signings we have brought in
A good transfer window that should have addressed issues sooner
thought burke looked decent under rodgers but not great by any means
i liked weah, he started well but then faded, you probably remember his appearances under lennon though so thats understandable....
i'm happy with our activity but we could have done with a winger.

Bizarrely the addition of them both allowed us to win the league
They were a huge part of that ! They brought energy when it was really needed
But yes very limited ability and brains
Ntcham staying was key to keeping Edouard happy. I think the club would have realised that.
He's also ideal for games at home when teams sit in so it's a massive boost to keep him.
The squad is as strong as the invincible season, only question is if the manager can get the best out of it.
Happy with the business done and if we can keep our big players fit then we should be winning this league again. Hopefully Jullien comes back in and him Duffy and Ajer can form that strong back 3. Just hope the season can be played out as we need a distraction over the coming no doubt depressing winter period on the horizon. Concerned with the Killie thing the other day, they've forfeited a game.....the season still has such a long way to go you don't want it descending into a farce
only question is if the manager can get the best out of it.

this is my concern because it's not that the players aren't good enough.
