Used to listen to the fighting c*ck, but found them more and more annoying. I like the lad from Bristol, but the rest were just pandering to the tedious presenter.

Last word is the only one I listen to now. Much better

Tbf you’re right it is all sort of the same but those four are different styles.

Extra inch is more a tactical view on the games

LWOS is more nice guys chat finding optimism in most circumstances.

TFC is more pub talk with a bit of football

i only listen to last word on spurs... but i also rarely finish one... find them unnecessarily long, and usually at least one of the guests talks bollox and annoys me...

overall though it keeps me coming back so must be doing something right

They’ve definitely got longer this season. I think 45 - 60 mins is about right for a pod

I don’t get what this means?

I listen to The Extra Inch and The View from the Lane - the latter being excellent (albeit the constant plugging of pieces is annoying but I think they have to do that contractually).

I liked TFC but it’s very injokey and when they became a patreon the quality really went down as the in-jokes were patreon only in-jokes. I even subscribed to the patreon for a bit but was a waste of money.

The Tottenham Way was my favourite - had Dan Kilpatrick on and was so well measured.

I listened to maybe 2? LWOS ones the Fabrizio Romano one was trash and I found the others too Jim White SkySports forced energy.

Wheeler Dealer radio is OK to listen too every now and then but it’s full of Americans with continually controversial takes and gets a bit tiresome - the producing quality is poor.

Best podcasts for football are:

The Mixer Podcast
Golazzo
Totally football show
Football Cliches
Zonal Marking Podcast
Then specific episodes of other podcasts with good guests on like GNev, Carra, Lineker etc

I can’t listen to podcasts that talk about other clubs

None of them really do - more talk about footballing history (Cruyff principles or Moggi corruption or whatever)

I've been to 2 of their socials - great laugh and atmosphere. Def get to one.

i dont like the VFTL presenter, same old voices and too much self or betting promotion

i do really like the other too though
