Imagine the revenue Liverpool would make, the 100’s on here without a free stream and paying £15 notes a game.
I guess it would save Ozil having to pay for a dinosaur
I don't know why, but I feel a bit cynical about our reasons for this. Like we still wanted to get some more money but had a different plan for it.

Could the ‘why’ be vodka?
Unfortunately I'm not that interesting.
If it was £10 and streamed through the PL or clubs websites (as is the case for EFL with iFollow) I think people would be OK with PPV. It's the fact that it's being shown on Sky and BT but not accessible to those with subscriptions or NOW TV (which I use) which causes the most ethical issues. Why should people pay an extra £15 to watch on a platform that people already pay for? There's enough money in PL football to absorb the extra costs.
Having watched City Vs Villa three times already this year, I won't be paying an extra £15 for the privilege. Back to the good old days with Stringer and RL.

Or battle corruption with corruption?
I understand both arguments. Myself, I can’t go to games but am lucky enough to have Sky/BT/Prime. If I didn’t then I’d be saving £60 a game by paying £15 to watch on TV than go to Anfield. Probably more one you factor in a few pints at the Arkle.
The majority of the money will go to the clubs which during these times can only be a good thing. Here’s hoping some of it can filter down the pyramid
I won’t be paying that’s for sure purely out of principle.
At a time when fans need football and find themselves under hardship, I find this move disgusting.
Greed is ugly.

As if Sky and Bt will let the PL use their platforms for free. Money will go to business, capitalist fat cats and foreign, fat cat ownership - it’s disgusting that, in a time when clubs could go out of business
, the PL and linking clubs stamp their feet. The majority of PL clubs make a profit irrelevant of attendance at games - to be in a situation where clubs are going out of business and PL clubs are making a profit is disgusting.
To be in a pandemic where PL clubs are trying to make additional profit is abhorrent
The PL ‘get the money after production costs’
I’m not one to really kick off on here - but they can absolutely fack off, the absolute twonks
If it was £15/month as opposed to per game then more people would pay and it would be more profitable. £15 to watch one game that can be streamed online for free is extortion
I just feel the games have now become like training exercises and in some way not real anymore anyway. Yes we support our clubs but feel it a bit rich that clubs feel that we will pay to support this TV brand come hell or high water. I would have thought the clubs would have being doing their utmost to keep interest alive or god forbid attract new followers for the future of the game.
BTW hope all you guys are all keeping well. Not posted for ages but I do keep tabs on you lot weekly
Good to hear from you Glory. Wholeheartedly agree with your view point!
I won't be paying full stop.
The Premier League and it's Clubs aren't doing themselves any favours with fans, it could easily turn the tide against them.
Do we know if the Rich Elite of the Premier League as a whole are doing anything extra to support lower League and Non league Clubs that are in real crisis with may likely to disappear forever?

I think this is the major issue now and hopefully being addressed. Knowing our club we would probably bank roll a local smaller club (Derby or Forest lol) for a bit but it would deemed illegal.
if every single player in the prem took a 2-3 % cut, it would cover it wouldn't it?
Instead the Greedy usual suspects of the Premier League are making a Power Grab to take control for themselves, greedy obnoxious barstuards.

power grab and the only ones left standing wont make is that appealing long term
The good news about the Man Utd/Liverpool suggestion is that there is quite clearly tons of money readily available that they're willing to be given to the lower leagues. So now we can just ignore all the other suggestions and do that.
However, with the other suggestions included, together with the money and offers being bandied around, there's a word for it that is difficult to use on a public forum. It's 10 letters and starts with C.
Well actually the word I want to use is 5 letters and starts with C. (using the plural)
As in "you evil, power-grabbing, sport-ruining C"
There's something about football that turns me into a socialist.
There’s definitely something about football right now that’s doing that Dunge.
Let’s just exploit the supporters while they’re down. As long as we’re rich who cares if only Americans watch our game on tv.
If it wasn’t for the love of my club and my respect for our owners, I’d consider going all Johngee and removing my financial support. I will most certainly not pay the additional money for each game, and the current proposals from the “big 6” bug mainly Utd and Liverpool make me sick to my core.
If money men ever remove on field merit based success, I’ll walk away from football all together. Leicester’s promotional highs are only that through our relegation lows. If the big boys had it their way, the miracle of 2015/16 would never have happened. The global coverage suggested fans from around the world loved that story. Do they really want to take that away? I know we’ll be relegated again at some point, and I’m happy to know that because we weren’t good enough on the pitch, not because of the size of our bank balance or fanbase.
As you say, absolute Cs.
