Watched a few episodes back in the day, and it seemed decent. Main reason I never renewed any interest in getting back into the show was due to the negative reviews of the ending. If this new run sorts that (no spoilers please) then great!
I thought it was an okay ending but a little rushed, the best season was 3 with the Trinity Killer, John Lithgow was bad asss.

My biggest gripe was the fact that his colleagues didn't find out about his double life. Would have been excellent TV.

That was season 4
As someone who only finished watching all of Dexter a few weeks ago this is very welcome news indeed. Especially as the show ended as poorly as it did. Season 9 will be a chance for redemption for what was a great tv show.

No worries, I'm not trying to be clever but I blitzed seasons 3-8 over recent months so it's fresh in my head. And season 4 was my fave as well, Lithgow was great
