I'm wondering which educated idiot thought it was a good idea to have the lowest tier (of a three-tier system) as "medium"?

Imagine how very very very high the top tier would be in the five-tier system.

We are all too stupid to understand the traffic light system. We would assume that "green" meant that we could do whatever we liked whereas "medium" conveys the idea of just the right amount of caution, not too much and not too little. As with the advice given at every stage in the pandemic, it's all very clear and logical, and seems to be embraced by all and working very well.

And Marriott for Sheffield Wednesday.

Imagine if they changed the way grades were handed-out for GCSE's, you know where a previous grade A became a Grade 9 and a previous Grade E became a grade 2 or maybe a 3.

Marriott has been regularly injured, often has looked overweight and there have been rumours of off the field stuff. As always it is impossible to know where the truth lies in all of this but for whatever reason he has achieved very little on the field in the time he has been with us.

Indeed but in pure numbers terms we are still where we were when we ‘needed’ a striker. I hope there is more to come today ....
