Played in the final and semi final (in fact he scored a crucial goal in the semi, this contributing more to Chelsea winning the Cl than keita did to Liverpool winning the league and Liverpool winning the Cl put together)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Torres goal in that semi-final came in the 92nd minute, and Chelsea were already going through even if he had failed to score.

Not imo, but I've seen some people saying Pogba is a flop and Keita isn't, which I think is a laughable statement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah it wouldn’t be consistent to say Pogba is a flop but keita isn’t. Keita has flopped more than pogba, it’s just whether he’s flopped enough that you can call him a flop or not.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the problem. Some clubs have some huge flops and it doesn't feel right that Liverpool doesn't get a mention. Naby Keita being the sacrificial lamb.
When he comes good like Hendo they'll all deny ever saying it.
I think if you spend that much on a player who plays in just 47 of 80 league games, you have to question the success
He's had a season to settle in and despite that played even less games in season 2 (started 14, sub 11 times)
And lets face it, if Henderson and Thiago are fit he aint starting too many this season either.
He cost similar and has played in a similar amount of games as Fred at Utd and i would consider him a flop, based on the price paid and the actual impact he's had.

And the fact Fred is superior too
Started 9 of 27 PL games he was available for last season
Only completed 90 minutes once
Goal or assist every 300 minutes
Has played 2,434 minutes of PL football in over 2 seasons (equivalent of 27 out of 80 games)
Cost £54M
Make your own minds up
Keita is a flop so far, but he may be able to turn it around.

The ignorance of Keitas injury prone time at Liverpool proves my point. Forcing pieces that don't fit to fit by ignoring paramount facts, which if not ignored would lead to a reasonable conclusion, which is undesirable at this time.
Look at the harsh judgment of Keita, managed to be available for 27 games in a season, adjudged to be poor and a flop .
You couldn't make it up. Keita judged by a standard they don't judge their own injury prone players by. But its OK for Keita because Liverpool must have a flop

Here he is being elevated to the level of another megaflop. Misery loves company.
Keita actually performs well when he plays, unlike the English Baresi
Maguire plays every game and the only thing that's made him is a bigger flop than Keita.
I think the basic judgement is are you getting what you paid for?
Keita. £54m. No!
Fred £55m. No.
NDombele. £54m no!
Maguire £80m. Hell no!
Anyone can redeem this situation but so far these players have been expensive flops. If they'd cost £20m each then no one would care, but they are massive signings.

We paid 8m for Robertson, so its not as simple as getting what you paid for, its about getting what you need.
As a player that was signed to add to an established midfield, Keita has faced many injuries and this explains his situation. When he playa he's good enough and we get what we need from him at the moment. Granted we need more from him going forward but he is still young and has time and resale value unlike the certified flops #Flopback and Flopzilla.
