No idea, he’s looked a lot better than most of our midfielders the little he has played

Really hope that not the formation.

Hasn’t VDB actually had a pretty season too (with Ajax), unlike the rest of the squad.

I remember Jose’s teams being leaked toward the end of his tenure...

If this is true I really don't know why VdB gets played on the right of the front three. Mata has been good to be fair when he's played but Matic, Pogba and Mata seem quite ponderous. It could be OK if Newcastle sit back but if they start buzzing around it could be a long night.

Having said that let's hope Ole has seen enough from these players in training and that they're the best XI for tonight.
