What happened last season is that even when VAR went against us, we still won the game anyway.
Other teams have proceeded to drop points when VAR goes against them and this males it loom Lome Liverpool haven't been majorly impacted.
Its true we haven't been majorly impacted, but that's not because we don't get decisions going against us, it's because we win in the end anyway.

Surprised at your response since one of your players took Salah out last year with a bad tackle.
Wasn't surprised he was subject to terrible abuse by Liverpool fans though

It really is a poor showing that no action has been taken against Pickford. It was a red card offence and in cases like this, he should imo serve a 3 match ban because he should have been sent off for the tackle.
Just because the decision was offside doesn't make any difference whatsoever. If anything, it makes it an off the ball incident. If that's the case, whenever the ball is dead you may as well just brawl with your opponents because you can't get sent off if the ball is in play. Will be interesting to see how they follow this up.

I never said you mainly benefit from VAR, I said that Liverpool had yet to be properly burned by VAR. You hadn't lost loads of points because of it and had only really seen it impact rivals in that way. So you were never bothered.
Now you have had a full negative experience with it in a local derby, you are throwing your toys out the pram.

Tamwolf:
So just to be clear your point is that yes, Liverpool have had as many decisions go against them as anyone else really but because we're good enough to overcome that we've not been negatively affected? That's what you're writing to the internet today?
Can we just forget about this now and move on, VVD is injured and it's shown the problem with the implementation VAR, let's hope this changes how the officials use it, that benefits all clubs.
And the notion that Liverpool have suddenly just had a decision go against them and that this is just now a problem is conspiracy theory level of delusion

Tin foil hats mate
Tamwolf its worth noting that the injury VVD got is the first instance of a player being badly injured by a tackle VAR should have seen and reviewed there and then.
And getting a positive change from this benefits all clubs, club rivalry here is ridiculous, could have been any teams player.

Not only should Jordan Pickford be suspended for as long as Van Dijk is injured, but Pickford should also be forced to have the same operation and rehab. It's the only fair thing to do.

Sorry mate I don't think k you watch enough of our games. Eg last year versus villa? Also I think matip versus Burnley etc. It is a myth people spout without really researching it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its not a myth. Liverpool have yet to be majorly impacted in a negative way by VAR.
Other clubs have been cost loads of points, Villa only stayed by because of a goal that wasn't given etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry there was an espn report showing var decisions and showed liverpool where mid tier in terms of for decisions . Just because we then managed to go win the games doesnt mean we benefit more than other teams with var.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think we were 7th or 8th.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But still yet to be majorly impacted by those decisions, so therefore were not bothered by it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The VAR decisions table suggests Liverpool have gained little to no benefit from VAR.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I never said you don't get decisions against you. Why do Liverpool fans always try to turn stuff into an argument that isn't there.

Yeah or why do people try make moot points about VAR?

Am sorry you brought up that we mainly benefit from var when I said it is a myth. There is an espn table of var decisions for 2019/20 that shows we not even in the top 5 teams who benefitted from it.
I am just saying what you belive re liverpool and var is not true based on facts. Not arguing at all. Just trying to point out that your views on this particular matter is not backed up by actual data.

Pickford should be arrested and charged with ABH....
Let alone a ban. Try doing that on the street and the other guy now has to have surgery and could not provide for his family.
You would get 3 months at her Majesty’s pleasure.
Disgusting!

Thanks for proving my point.

Fair enough re the first statement . But to be honest there was an outcry from us re the villa game last season but apart from Liverpool fans moaning about it nobody else really cared as we won.It was good we went on to win it that one! Good debate.
