Yep, I would have been happy to give them minutes in the league cup and Europa and then see how they've done/how many competitions we're in come Jan.
But it doesn't look like Arteta trusts them in even these games and prefers to put in pretty senior line ups

He’s been better than Pepe and Laca
Keown thinks we are playing a back 4. but we are not. out of possession saka is almost constantly doubling kols and he is tucking into cb position. 2 strikers and 3 in midfield at the moment against 5 in midfield for rapid. how is the ball going to get to the strikers quickly?

I wouldn’t pay 15p to watch this let alone £15. This is just appalling football and has been all season. The defence has improved largely through getting Gabriel but we pose absolutely no attacking threat and are so easy to defend against. Pepe , Eddie & Laca are total shiiite. Partey looks good.

Why don't we have anyone really willing to take players on? We barely did it all half. Their defence isn't that good, but it was as comfortable a 45 mins as they'll ever have.

he gets confused cause saka tucks into midfield in possession and it reverts to 4-3-3. but the problem is thats in possession and rapid pull everyone back so we are still outnumbered in midfield. this is just like against sheff utd.
