This sums it up for me. Mustafi jogging back for their goal when Vardy is sprinting to get into the box is pathetic.
Partey and Gabriel look good but that’s about it. Let’s hope Saka isn’t injured for too long.
Pepe on the left is worse than Pepe on the right, but he’s generally a terrible player and needs to go.
Cheetah can not catch Vardy.....
Arteta has made us more solid at the back, which was a big task, but his plan seems to have halted there. I know we don’t really have creative players but he really needs to find somewhat of a solution. Otherwise this will be blueprint of how to bear Arsenal, just let us have possession because we won’t do much with it, draw us in then counter. Been saying for a while best way to beat us is to let us have possession. Artetas way only seems to work mostly when we’re the underdog and we have less of the ball.

What happened to the high press game that Mikel installed in his first game against Chelsea!. Winning the ball high up the pitch and creating lots of chances. Ok we got sucker punched and ran out of steam but we were unbelievable for 60 mins. Since then we’ve dropped deeper and deeper. It’s boring, it’s predictable and is having zero effect. Seems like opposite teams decide to up their game we are in trouble. Not good enough.
Positives
1. we are still top half of the table....for now, but a few teams have a game in hand which could take them above us.

the thing i notice most about your games that i watch is that you seem to have a plan that you have to make 15 passes to get over midfield every time you have the ball.
