Great match thread Rev. Here’s to a further improved performance this evening. And the odds are it will be, the Hughton effect has already been evident. Slender victory for the away side.

Luton have had a good start, they beat Norwich Barnsley, Reading & the sheep; before slipping up against Man U, Watford, Millwall & Stoke.
They don't seem to do draws so far, although that may change tonight. The table doesn't lie & they're 10 points higher than Forest a.t.m.
According to Daniel Taylor writing for the Athletic, Grabban was rumoured to be off to Qatar with Sabri, not happened yet though?

Not 10 points higher - 7 points

They’ll be 10 points if the beat us tonight, hope that’s not a sign

Sorry meant 10 places.

For the first time, and in many a season, I feel we now have a manager who has the ability, and the know how to topple opponents. In Hughton we trust.

If we can get an early goal, and impose ourselves on the game, I think we can get a result tonight

March thread?
And here's me thinking we were in October!!!

Thanks for posting another good thread REV, although to be honest a similar thread would have done for all of Hughton's games.

I'm optimistic again. I think it is only a matter of time before we hit some good form, fingers crossed

Nothing came of the move to the Middle East; but Grabbs has an injury and will miss tonight's game.

Has anyone else heard that we have asked for the kick off to be delayed untill 20:45.

The reason given is that is when Forest will start to play.

Request is being considered by the panel that is looking at the Grosicki transfer.

We hope to have a decision before Saturday's game.

I’d love to see how we coped if we actually took the lead rather than conceding first. Tonight will certainly be tough as Luton are in decent form although they don’t score a lot of goals, they appear well organised. Assuming we get a good start I feel confident we can win this one, going for the same as last season, 2-1 Reds.

Yeah, but you haven’t said which Saturday. 😀

I hope we don’t stick with the 4-4-2 as didn’t seem to work against Derby. Either that or they stopped us from playing. Would like to see Ribiero brought back into the side as Ioannu blows hot and cold and will invite danger down that flank

Be Taylor on his own up front tonight and Knockaert on the right.

posted on 28/10/20

Yeah, I’d like to see Ribiero back in too, and in the Midfield - Ameobi, Lolley, Yates, Arter and Knockaert with Taylor up front

posted on 28/10/20

Or Freeman instead of Ameobi - that would be a solid Midfield

Colback in for Arter (Probably injured?)

Guerrero on the bench. Be interesting to see him if he gets on. Would like to see Mighten get on as well.

Is Grabban still injured or distracted by transfer talk?

Supposedly a foot injury (well, he hasn't scored yet, so that maybe true!).

Think he might be injured Cani

Ribiero looks to be right out of favour, shame as he is far better than Ioannou. Disappointed Arter is missing, guess he must be injured. Looks a solid if slighting lacking in the creativity department.

Fair enough of injured. Shame, as despite his poor form he’s still our best striker and finisher. His movement and runs create so many chances and Taylor doesn’t seem like that type of player even if he’s effective in other ways. With Knockaert getting crosses in hopefully Taylor can get some goals. Also frees up Lolley to get space. We’ve got some real options with Lolley, Knockaert, Ameobi and Freeman, all different qualities.
