The ten year anniversary of that was last week.

If you want to keep this Spurs related, I was there when Edman put it in the top corner from all of 35 yards against us at Anfield.

If you're happy for this to be opened up further, I was there when Beardsley got a hatrick against united back around 1990 and was there when Michael Owen made his debut as a 17 year old scoring away at Wimbledon.

I remember the game when Edman scored. April 2005

Luis Garcia scored an excellent goal and I think Gerrard missed a penalty

I was at highbury to see ian wright break the arsenal scoring record

Plus I saw Dennis Bergkamps first highbury appearance in a friendly against inter milan

I was there for Owen and Gerrard’s first hat tricks. I was there in the Kop when Carragher scored 2 OG’s vs Utd. I was there when Everton last won at Anfield haha

I was there for Fowler’s white line celebration

I was there to see Messi score his 100th European goal

I was there in '99 at Camp Nou when Ole scored

I was also there in December 2019 when Messi got a hat trick

I was there when Sol Campbell came back to WHL for Arsenal - haven't experienced an atmosphere as hostile as that. Was on the news at 10 with a big Judas flag above my head as they covered his return as the coach got bricked.

I was there (3 rows behind) the guy who ran on to the pitch to take a swing and a miss at fat Frank.

My top three Spurs ones

1. I was there when Spurs beat Sheffield Wednesday in April, 1961 to win the League

2. I was there to see Jimmy Greaves first Spurs game v Blackpool, when he scored a hat-trick December 1961.

3. I was there to see Spurs beat Anderlecht at WHL to win the UEFA Cup in May 1984


I will add in another one, not Spurs related.

I was there at Wembley in 1966 to see England win the World Cup



Not a bad start to my footballing supporting life. It has all gone wrong since.

I was there Liverpool edition:

I was there when Chelsea beat them in the League Cup final at the Millennium Stadium. They were recording fan volume that day for Guinness World Record or something or other. Anyway, Liverpool's cheer for their goal won it, don't know if the record still stands.

Chelsea had no chance of winning it - so many free seats in their section / half...hence how I got in for a tenner off a tout while my mate was in the Pool end (Pool fan, having paid £300).

I was in the Kop when Mellor hit that screamer vs Arsenal.

I was in the Anfield Road end when an on-fire Drogba helped Chelsea beat Pool 4-0 I think. He was a beast on his day and this was one of them.

I was there when Harry Kane really started to burst properly onto the scene and we realised there could be something in this guy - Nottingham Forest league cup

I was there when we beat Arsenal 5-1 in the league cup semi final. Possibly one of greatest ever atmospheres that night at the Lane. Whole ground rocking and singing on way home to seven sisters

I was there when we beat inter Milan 3-1 at the Lane In our 1st CL. VDV

I was also there in semi final and final Wembley losses but I ain’t going there

I was there when drogba stroked home that penalty. Was also there for all the dodgy games and refereeing debacles we had in Europe over the years, and Moscow. So was unreal.

Actually being behind the goal when Tony Parkes saved "that penalty" vs Anderlecht in the then Uefa Cup. Magical night. Finally left the ground about an hour or so later.

This has to win out of any spurs fan surely.

I was behind the goal when Salah scored the pen v us in the CL final. That will live with me forever for the wrong reasons. Part of me died that day.

1989 Fa cup final, Rush winner in ET in corporate hospitality.

We then lost the league the following Friday in the last min of the last game to arsenal, I wasn't there for that though.

Yea was at all those. Bale scoring the last minute winner v West Ham at Upton Park was great. Also, for some random reason the Villa away game when Kane scored the free kick.. Away fans went mental then.

I was at United the diets time we beat them away in ages 3-2. Got a story to tell on that but nahbe for another time
