No team, not even Man City, have a squad XI that they could say play in the Prem, it just doesn`t work like that.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Man City's 2nd Starting XI is probably stronger than most sides in this league as it is. It's hard to correctly determine what Man City's strongest XI is, but even in most people's opinion, Man City's 2nd side I'd feel could quite easily challenge for the CL places, at minimum. Depending on who you class as 2nd choice.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I doubt it mate, even their best XI is hardly pulling up trees this season. Yes they have a strong squad. But no way would their second XI be able to play all season and challenge for a CL spot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd bet they would. Their 2nd squad is quite clearly better than most in the league by some distance.
If you consider the likes of Mahrez, Jesus, Stones, Mendy, Cancelo etc 2nd string players, they have by far and away more quality than many clubs in the rest of the league. That's with me not rating Stones as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well it clearly isn't, otherwise City would not be sitting in midtable as it stands.

Who are the etc players? You have only mentioned five players. A team usually has 11.
