Elneny for me. Thought he was class
I would love to see a double pivot of Partey and Elneny in a 4231. I would say Ceballos and Xhaka are better players than Elneny but not by much. And at times, a partnership is bigger than the sum of its parts. Elneny and Partey also carry the ball and occasionally play very very good forward passes. Arteta needs to solidify his CM partnership and sticking it!
Partey and Gabriel were incredible. Feels like they are what we were missing in big games seasons before.
Partey is a class above. Just wish we went further and added Aouar in the summer.
He had a very good game. Hopefully over the season he makes the difference.
