Great win
Poor performance though. Brighton were good
Var is a total joke as are the referees
im very happy with 3 pts but the performance has to improve. If we are parking the bus at home to BHA whats gonna happen vs City Chelsea LFC
English refs continue to get worse and worse.
I would much rather see wins with poor performances than draws or losses after playing well.
I think we will approach games like City or Chelsea differently and will still be competitive in these games.

Tend to agree.
People forget we've played thurs, after travelling and then we play today while teams like Brighton have time off to recover and be fresh.
In the circumstance - just get the points!
Also, a team learns to win ugly and then when it becomes good at winning, add gloss to the wins by performing better. Fans just have to get used to it

I hope so but the way we play gives the opponents hope. BHA got so much encouragement to play, to bring the ball forward. I can understand sitting off some teams but BHA with little pace and no striker on the pitch.

LOL wtf did you do there!!!!
Lampety is definitely worth considering... in the next few transfer windows... serious pace.... plus technically adept...
Think Moura should have played instead of Lamela... to stretch the wings out more, with his pace...
Very strange performance
But a win is a win... now 2nd!! 😁
Very, very poor performance. Probably the worse in the Prem all season. But the three points were huge.

Our midfield is a huge worry. It is simply not existent for large parts of games.
You hit the post twice and suffered the worst VAR travesty of the season and still won so don’t be too hard on yourselves
Don't think I've ever seen a game with such bad refereeing for both sides.
Kane's penalty should have been a foul to Brighton for me, Brighton should have had a penalty for Doherty's pull, and then obviously Brighton's goal should have been ruled out for a clear foul.
Be mental if that ref gets another prem game next weekend.
I tried hard to give the ref the benefit of doubt on that foul he missed from 2 yards, but honestly if you don't know what constitutes a foul in football, just hung up your refs boots mate

Actually agree with all of this, ref has had a shocker. The fact he was watching his own mistake on tv for about four mins and still couldn’t see it

Yeah, the first one I was expecting a foul from Lallana which usually are given as foul, but how the ref and VAR thought it was a pen when during the challenge it happened in mid-air and you can't see the line. Of course, Kane then fell just outside the line too.
Liverpool at City next Sunday and we are away at West Brom
We couldn’t go too, could we??!!

eh?
The foul that led to the penalty are always wierd. Sometimes refs give them to attackers as the player clatters in to them like today, sometimes they read it as the player backing into the player jumping.
Personally im not even sure who's right. Certainly Kane got clattered & Lallana didnt get the ball, but Kane didnt jump and waited for contact.
