Can’t blame him at all for the Southampton one. That was a dreadful decision
A bit lucky yesterday though, although Trossard dived
In the box, you get these incidents all the time. Just watch any game and you will see them.
It's just got highlighted by the cameras.
He needs to be more subtle while doing it imo
It was a nothing incident, a slight grab on the Brighton player, worse things happen at every single corner. The Brighton player also dived after he realized he could not get to the ball.
However, if that was a Pool or United player, they are blowing for a penalty kick 100%, so we were lucky in that regard.
Sonny appeared to dive also, I think all the players saw match of the day and witnessed Salahdive being gifted yet another penalty for yet another dive, and thought they would try the same. Unfortunately though, they were not wearing a red shirt and so were wasting their time.
On another note, I'm not a fan of our players diving/getting more crafty to win pens and free kicks. Seems to have gone up a notch. I'm guessing Jose is encouraging it.
Poor from Kane yesterday for that sort of stuff.

Poor from Kane yesterday for that sort of stuff.

100%, win by any means and that. We will see more of it for as long as we can get away with it.
i like Doherty but he lacks the pace of a modern full back especially in a 4 at the back system. Wish i could have more trust in Aurier.
Lazy defending is the best way to sum up Doherty.
The pens given against him so far have been awful decisions and not his fault at all.
Got lucky yesterday though

Yeah, it's as much the refs fault for not clamping down.
Only Spurs can buy a supposedly replacement for a right back and buy an even poorer one. You know players dont trust their technique and ability when their first thoughts on receiving the ball with players closing you down is to launch it.
Our recruitment is truly awful. Players like him really don't help us in keeping possession.

That's surprising. His pass and move football was his biggest asset with us. Open play defending was his weak point as he could be lazy and switch off.

Don't think he knows what to do in this team at the mo and so instead does nothing.

He seems a touch indecisive with the ball at his feet especially when the opposition is close to him and sometimes plays the lofted pass to compensate. Invariable we loose the ball. Not seen much in the attacking sense from him.
How is Semedo doing?

Semedo kept making really basic errors in his first few games, but you could see his ability. Then this weekend he was brilliant (although given a lot of space by Palace).
Technically very good and has a lot of pace. Seems an upgrade on Doherty at the moment and most Wolves fans disappointment at losing Doherty seems to have disappeared.
How is he getting on? You stitched us right up with this move, we had to end up with Semedo in his place and Hoever as back up ffs. And Ait-Nouri in on the other side

Saw him a couple of times at Barcelona and although ok didn't really stand out. The pundits were raving about him over the weekend.
he hasnt been as bad defensively as people make out, looks more reliable than Aurier despite himself having some clumsy moments, he just lacks a bit of pace. If not for the cheap fouls (which half the squad give away btw) then i think he's had a decent start especially adapting to being in a 4 at the back.
some comments here are really harsh. bringing him to the club has made aurier massively step his game up... some genuine competition for his slot.
he has been great but I'm going to be patient with the lad as he looked like an important cog in a very impressive wolves outfit last season
that should be 'he hasn't* been great'
