I’m glad that you admit to not listening to both sides and therefore getting a balanced opinion.

....

Who sows I don’t listen to both sides.

You are struggling big time here lad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Course I am VC, course I am. Is Fox News not pro Trump and generally right leaning (to put it lightly)? If you wanted to hear both sides then you would watch that as well as others. Quite simple really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes but it also famously inaccurate so what do you get from it? Do you also keep up to date with the daily stormer to ensure you get a balanced approach?

Also, get ready. When Trump wins the election, I can’t wait to rub it in the faces of these vile leftist jackasses who act like their sh*t doesn’t stink.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are fully entitled to your views and opinions and choices. I would neither criticize or degenerate them.

However why do people feel the need to celebrate like crazy or rub rivals noses in it when their chosen political candidate or party wins?

I see it on the politics thread as well. Especially labour supporters. It's like a game of one-upmanship and don't dare criticize my chosen political party.

Here's a news flash for you all. None of them give a fook about the general population. They care about number 1.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite right.

This is why I don’t get why people here are so condemning of one but no criticism of the other. Criticising Donald Trump is a task that 4 year olds could do. But to only set out the supposed good traits of Biden? Ok cool.

both are really poor candidates and prone to gaffs.

It really is a sad state of affairs.

The american election is like the fooking x factor
4 years ago hilary was more focused on dancing on stage with Jon bon Jovi than telling the american voter what she was going to do to improve their lives
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The voters saw right through all that BS with music stars and Hollywood elite. It did her campaign so much damage. Who cares what they think? Trump spoke about jobs, Islamic terror and things people wanted to listen to. The democrats just called it 'hate spreading'.
People listened though.

Clinton got hilariously battered. All those coward Hollywood stars that promised to leave the country if Trump was president all backed off and gave pathetic reasons to stay instead. Awful people.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The voters saw right through it? So that would be why she got 2.8 million votes more than Trump, right?

The Democrats have chosen such a poor candidate. If they could have found somebody, smart dynamic and young it would have been no contest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't want to appear ageist 52 but in my opinion trump and biden are too old. Both in their 70s and cannot possibly have similar opinions to voters in say their 20s and 30s.

Following the mistake with Hillary, I think they've gone for the safest option possible, considering his general popularity and history.

I think he did a great job to minimise the damage Trump managed to inflict when running against Hillary for sure.

You think CNN is accurate?

On any particular topic I will see what CNN/Fox types have to say then I’ll go read what the WSJ / Bloomberg / FT types say then arrive at my own conclusion.

Was just about to say - She won the popularity vote? Or were they all illegal votes, like Trump still reiterates today.

The gloating over election/referendum results is one of the most pathetic and depressing developments of the social media age.

For the Dems this election is all about getting a maniac out of Power.

They had to find a candidate who would appeal to the range of Dems and Independent voters.

Biden was that person.

Quite. This is my only criticism of Biden. A Biden from ten years ago I’d have been fine with, even more so over Trump. People hate Trump so much it makes them blind to any possible weaknesses of Biden.

Wouldn’t it Be lovely If Trump lost by approximately the same number of votes he missed out on because of the deaths of his supporters due to Covid and them not wearing masks......
That would make me laugh.

I know it isn’t, it’s the electoral college votes and it’s the one that matters. Quite simple really.

Imagine voting for a candidate who tells you you’re not black if you vote for Trump.

.....

There is something seriously wrong with you if you are black and you are voting for a racist who supports white supremacy.

But irrelevant to the point that was made on the popular vote. Try and pay attention. It isn’t hard.

Seriously ............
How a right minded person Can stick up for Trump...?
Forget how bad /awful the democrats are/ have been.
It’s not about them.
It’s about the worst president America has ever had.
If I live to be 200, I’ll never see one as bad as this one.

And there’s human beings out there that will defend him.

Losing the will to live.

What utter nonsense
