This season is about consolidation and getting used to playing consistently at top level again.

Well done to Leicester - the manager has got them well tuned again and they are genuine contenders.

take it on the chin, move on, learn, eagles next

The plus is that we gifted them 3/4 goals.... 4-1 faltered them in the end.

10th is ambition for me. Wouldn’t complain if we just stay out of a relegation battle.

No major concerns about that last night. Reduce the mistakes and we are right in that game.

Yeah agree 10th would be amazing

We will be up and down a bit, the Villa and Leicester results may define how things go.

Feels like we are more suited to counter attacking and playing away

Squad looks good tbh. We look shaky at the back but do have Llorente to come in. We must remember this is literally last years squad with rodrigo (and Koch for White) so far in terms of games played

Be interesting to see how we set up once Llorente is fit. He’s a Spanish international so isn’t here to make up the numbers. I do wonder if we will go 3 at the back (Ayling/Koch/Llorente) and where Cooper fits into things

Not really, battered you first half.

When we got promoted people said if Bielsa continues playing his way it would be very entertaining, at the moment that's proving right!..

At the same time people said we would be good for the Premiership but our style of play we should expect a few drubbings on the way!..

Liverpool game I thought would have been but we gave as good as we got, last night we played a team that is the sort that can on their day match anyone!..

Last night was only one of the drubbings we were warned about, hopefully the players learn a hard lesson and come back stronger!..

I dont recall Leicester battering us. There were very few chances in the game but Leicester took all theirs. Fair play.

1st goal was a clear Koch error..... second goal was sloppy ply losing it in midfield...... think we did ourselves over more but credit to Leicester played it well. Deserved the win - no complaint there

First half was the worst I've seen in 2 years. Huge errors let to all their goals, but that's the way it goes some times.

Must of watched a different game to me.

Dominated for long periods and all there chances came from klich, Dallas and Pablo constantly giving the ball away.

Not saying we deserved anything from the game, but it was our own downfall

posted on 3/11/20

At 2-1 Pablo hit the bar and an equaliser was coming, then Bielsa fudged up by taking our only creative outlet off when on top and Leicester nabbed a 3rd and killed us off. We, like LIW said, it was our own downfall.

There fans said they'd have taken a draw pre match, if someone said guess who won it 4-1, id have said us.

On to next one though, still having a good campaign so far.

Think Bielsa tactically had an off day, to start with, Klich at DM, not his position needs to play further forward, I would have started Struijk there. Started Shackleton, at this point in his career is not Premier League quality, had a good game against Villa but yesterday looked way out of his depth.

Took Shackleton off for Poveda, about the one good decision he made. Took Pablo off when he was starting to play and brought on Roberts who is another who is struggling at this level and did nothing. Takes Dallas off and brings on Alioski, why?

We lost 0-3 to West Ham at home but beat Man city and Arsenal away? Stop making excuses and get your prayer mat out for the Woy game.

The subbing of Pablo shows Bielsa is human after all. He was playing out of his skin and was the only player who could have made something out of nothing. Not surprised he was p!ssed off.

Villa tore Liverpool 7-2

Then they shipped 7 goals at home without reply...

That’s the nature of football.

The teams slightly more consistent in avoiding defeats will come through with a higher finishing position.

I like to watch Leeds, even though I don't actually like them. I either like to watch them batter teams or be battered, always provides entertainment.

I think Leeds will do better once they have a couple of established seasons in the PL and are able to bring in a few more better quality players in the area that it's needed. I still personally think, over the course of the season, the spine of the team needs to be rectified before long. Phillips should remain, but the likes of Cooper, Hernandez and Bamford will probably want to be improved in the long run due to quality/age imo.

That is funny....... Bamford is a glorified white hair.
