Lauders you probably don’t remember 51st state either? A poor man’s Hooters but they still wore denim hot pants and roller skates. Meat packers was a pale imitation waitress wise but the nosh was decent. Think there was a scandal that they painted over the marble pillars that was part of malmaison before it closed which was one of the up market dining places of Glasgow at the time.

My mate tells me there was a nurse night once a month. Sounded great

Back then I worked 1-9 Mon - Thurs 10-6 Friday was impossible to walk from work to the bus station and not bump into someone, see workmates in a pub window or get a text on the way.

No wonder I had so much debt.

Whe I was a teenager there was a nurse night every week in Morley’s. For some reason we always went and always drank bloody Mary’s? Always had to walk back into town along prw for a late bus. Got caught by a polis doing a pash once - what are you doing / wtf does it look like Sherlock? Got away with it. Oh, and never once saw a nurse Rubiyat Byers road for that, or the outside inn, Yorkhill.
