United definitely don't need managers who challenge for PL and CL titles, they need managers who win things in the Norwegian League.

It can’t have been that big a mess if those players who had come 2nd in the league just a few months before went on a 10 game winning run.

A more skilled manager would have gone into the next season and built upon that rather than think that wholesale changes were the only way.

The guy who had just won the CL as Bayern manager had never won anything before either.

I think the press will see hiring Pochettino as a good and sensible move for a club in our situation.

Tbf, a lot of this is just for winding you up robb, an antidote to your constant pining about poch. I know fine well that poch is a good manager and could be a success here, but I want ole to have a little more time first.

There is a lot to like about Poch's style in terms of youth development and style of play but that comes with the caveat that he hasn't won anything in his managerial career.

but I want ole to have a little more time first.

He's had a lot of time to be honest. More than twice the time the average Chelsea manager gets, and they usually actually win something.
