I hope you're right.. I don't know enough about US politics to know, but it does seem like the flimsiest of reasoning they are using... But they'll try anything they can, i'm sure.

Now, he can still win but the odds are massively stacked against him.
Pennsylvania could get called today and if it goes blue and the areas where the votes are still being counted from which are Pittsburg and Philadelphia suburbs which are mostly blue then Trump will be done.
Georgia which is still counting Atlanta suburb votes could also turn blue today.

I am confused by the whole thing. In what world would you stop counting votes?
One thing i can't wrap my head around with US politics is why there is such a long transition period.. Trump will surely do untold damage in his final couple of months, while setting in place everything he can to make sure he doesn't go to jail?
its amazing how my mood swings as the news swings.

Well, I’d have to know what exactly the “Count those votes” Trump supporters meant. For instance, there’s this “Sharpiegate” rumour in Arizona, where some think their in-person votes weren’t counted as they’d deliberately been given pens that would destroy the ballot. So they might be complaining about a different set of problems from those who are saying all the Democrat mail-in votes are fraudulent.
The sad thing is though, most of them are probably chanting simply because he said he’d been cheated: that’s the only “evidence” they’d need.
What about this “access” issue in Pennsylvania and Michigan though? Again, it’s probably a lie, but Team Trump could cause a few problems pushing that one, surely?
