That’s a great win - another potential banana skin, and this time Hughton has the team in the right frame of mind to overcome it
Great result considering this game had banana skin written all over it!
Good result. Needed it badly and now some more time to work with the players. Still a long way to go and we were playing a side that will probably go down

Definitely
Question I have - over the 90 minutes how did we play, did the team actually look cohesive and joined up?
If we can beat barnsley there's about 7 teams we could leapfrog.
You can tell when things are picking up, we start saying ‘should have scored AGAIN’, so much better than hanging on with a solitary goal lead. I give credit Wycombe lots of credit for the style they play, but not sure that Barnsley will allow the luxury of playing the way we did today. Inkwell will be another dour battle, of that you can be sure, but at least we should be feeling slightly more confident. We are also now 4 points clear of the team immediately below us, Coventry. Who is brave enough to go on the Derby boards with, ‘mind the gap’. Not me.
Best 90 minutes for a long time. Lots to be pleased about, not just the result.
Confidence high now. One defeat in seven since CH arrived
Rev, the main thing is, we looked much better, certainly for at least 70 mins, and we actually had back to back positive halves, for me the first time this season, I am not getting carried away as our last two opponents were in league one last season, and our next could well have been, but I certainly think we are starting to see some positive signs, at last.

I watched the whole match and I still see some calamitous attacking and defending, but also some really clever moves that just need to come off. Improvement today and no doubt further improvement to come.
Like wise I watched the whole game, as I have the last (to many to mention), and yes there was some uncomfortable defending, not sure I would say calamitous, but you will get that in most games. Today was the first game I have actually enjoyed for a while, partly down to Wycombe‘s ‘open’ style of play Again for the first time in a while there were far more positives than negatives, so all in all I don’t feel as concerned as I did after the Middlesbrough debacle. We are by no means the finished article, but we are starting to integrate some very good championship players into the team, rather than eleven good/very good individuals.

That’s important
Just seen the highlights, looked like we created lots of good chances - on another day, we could have scored 4 or 5
I like the fact we not so defensive, and we seem to be a little more creative
Rev, not dissimilar to the Rotherham game for chances created, difference was that we weren’t chasing the game for once. Having played most of the teams that are expected to be in the relegation scrap recently, Luton, Rotherham, Coventry and Wycombe (I’ll omit Derby as they weren’t expected to be down there, like us) I wouldn’t like to pick who will go down, who knows after last season all three may stay up.

We’re not totally out of it ourselves yet - let’s hope we not one of the teams having to fight for survival
It will be interesting to see where we are in the table in half a dozen games time, with Bournemouth, Swansea, Norwich, Watford, Brentford and Reading on the horizon, though not in that order. With of course another banana skin, in Barnsley coming up next. That run will tell us where we really are in our transition.

Yes but the Psychopath was also a doddery old dementia patient who was also delusional.
Can't see Biden running for a second term at 81 y.o. Maybe Kamala Harris, or better still AOC.
