I was obviously referring to when Ziyech wasn't injured but Lampard still wasn't starting him and he was on the bench. Like in these games:

Again, when a player played about 30 mins of pre season and no game in 2 months due to injury why would you chuck him straight in there? You’d be a moron, you gradually ease them in from the bench and let them build up a bit of confidence and fitness.
If anything Lampard went quite early with it only being 3 games. Similar to Mourinho, how long did he make Bale wait to get a starting berth 4-5 games?
Sorry Wahl, I know you dislike Lampard and as a flange you’re entitled to your opinion but you’re talking Bollux on this one, probably because we won yet again and now you’ve got no ammunition because we’ve been on such a good run and look like the best team in the PL at the moment

Lampard never rated Ziyech but decided to tell Ferdinand when they had a catch up that Ziyech was the player he was most looking forward to and told Ferdinand his quality and passing is ridiculous.
But no according to Wahl, Lampard didn’t rate him because he didn’t start him straight away after 2 months of being injured What a moron
