No I expected us to go back top and make a real statement to the rest of the League

Everton chelsea and city away all out the way after 8 games. If we can beat leceister next game we have a decent run of fixtures after that. Really happy with our return from the opening 8. They were really tricky

Good result but I cannot believe how many times we were beaten to aerial duels and 50/50s. Man City are a bunch of weak midgets in attack and midfield or gangly lanky defenders with the exception of Walker. That should never happen. Mane, Salah and Jota in particular were physically absolutely dominated in the 2nd half.

Having watched Liverpool and City today, neither team should be troubling Spurs. They were both pretty woeful, and take one or two out of their sides, and they don`t offer a lot. I will be disappointed if Spurs don`t beat both in the coming month or so.
