Villa being written off.....

In reality they've no chance but i like the progression they have made.

Will United be able to get above them to make themselves more appealing to Grealish in the summer?

Grealish signed another new contract at the start of the season. He seems very committed and loyal to Villa who will ask for around £80m if they want. Can't see anyone wanting to pay that but never say never.

His stats this season are sensational and he's English so 80m isn't outrageous if he keeps this up. Hopefully it does scare them off or he's not interested would like to see him stay at Villa if they can continue to improve. He's a joy to watch.

Think we may start to pull away after the international break. Some important players will be returning from injury, we've had a tough set of fixtures so far and we're a point off top.

Hopefully but its never easy, even when we walked it there was a lot of close games, any team in the prem can give you a game and make it really tough. But hopefully we keep finding away. I'm hoping we settle down and play into some form after the break and have better luck with injuries.

I think Leicester have a chance of being closer to top this season because we’re a better team than last season but way too early to consider ourselves title challengers but then who else is at the moment?

We also seem to have matured and learnt some lessons from last season and found different ways of playing, whereas last season we had no plan b. Now we change things up depending on who we’re playing and also within games to counteract the oppositions threats while maintaining our own threat. So far it’s working.

Signs are also good considering we’re top and have been missing Ricardo, Evans, Soyuncu, Castagne, Ndidi and Amartey, five of which would normally be in our first XI.

If we can improve on fifth then I’ll be very happy and I do think we have a good chance of doing that.

As for Europa, looks like we could go into the last couple of games playing the kids if we can beat Braga next time around and that will help massively to avoid the fixture overload in December, which could be vital. Reassess at the end of the year, until then too much can happen to think about winning the league again.
