Villa did some good transfer business during the summer.

Couple of lads from the Championship.

A Chelsea reject.

Arsenal’s reserve keeper...

They played us off the park. If their first goal had stood and Grealish didn't have his shot cleared off the line by Ceballos, they would have won 5-0 and we wouldn't have been able to cry foul play about a single one of their goals. I was very impressed. Remind me somewhat of Brendan Rogers' Liverpool in 2013/2014.

Yeah they were excellent, and we were awfully toothless, even if we played much better it would have been hard to get a win yesterday as they were very effective at getting at our defence. Worrying just how little we troubled their defence though

They conceded 4 goals at home to Southampton and have been in poor form so I completely disagree with your narrative. Yes they were very good but we allowed them so much time and space , the high press and energy levels weren’t their from us. Even Arteta admitted that we were not at it from the first minute. I’m sorry but Villa do not beat us if everyone is on their game, it was a game we should have won or at least shouldn’t lose.. We were absolutely awful and to their credit Villa capitalised on it.

They played well, but even on a bad day we should atleast test their keeper.

They won because we were shiiit.

Arsenal respected Aston Villa too much because they beat Liverpool 7-2. Our players were backing off too much and you can't do that against a visitor team. The whole team have had a bad day, but if we lose against Leeds Arteta is going to be even under more pressure. Arsenal fans can accept losses against Man City and Liverpool away, but not Aston Villa and Leicester at home.
