They don`t give out trophies in November mate. Even you must admit that Spurs have an absolute well-balanced side now. And you must be a little fearful, especially with all the injuries mounting up for Liverpool. Spurs had that problem last season, and it really derailed the season.

I think after about 20 or so games we can see who are looking likely to challenge, I still think Liverpool will win the league by around 8 points.
Especially this season when teams had a lack of pre season and teams, like Chelsea, didn’t have their new players at beginning of the season,

Think teams are still looking to find their form.

Edbo, I will not do a bit to spare today, but suffice I think it will be enough to have a stella season.

I fact if I get vaccinated, I could maybe meet you down at the ground when Spurs are presented with the trophy. Hopefully maybe at the Wolves game, 12 May, stadium could be open by then.

Best defence equal with several teams and only 1 less than a handful of others. With 8 games gone still conceded over a goal a game. Let’s not jump the gun

Could say the same about Spurs, they have lots of new players as well, so they are probably playing no where near top gear at the moment. Spurs have two new full backs, new midfielders, Bale, Vincinius, etc, so Chelsea are no different to Spurs.

Yeah add spurs to that as an example too. So backs up my point, teams aren’t fully up and running yet and we’re only 8 games in. Can’t judge yet

Dier has been decent at CB which has been good to see. Could be his long term position.

I actually think the pressure is on Spurs to win the league this season.

Second season is when Mourinho teams peak, Mourinho is a manager who focuses on winning now, he was appointed to win, they have the two best forward players in the league, City look in decline, Liverpool are having loads of injures and Chelsea will take time to gel.

All things considered you could argue Spurs should be winning the league this season, would be a major missed opportunity if they don't.

I would agree with that. It's going to be a season like the one Leicester won I think. Not saying we'll actually win it but it's a golden opportunity.

I wouldn't say the pressure is on us though, which is a good thing.

Late December will be a much more accurate reflection of how Jose is doing.
