Christies interview after the game one of the best ever

We had a back 5 consisting of players from Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and two from Motherwell and the two from Motherwell were the standout two
Thought to a man everyone who started played well (McTominay awful defending for the goal mind). Thought he subs might cost us for a while but who fooking cares now.
Delighted and they better get this vaccine rolled out because London is 7 months away from an invasion.
All in all the team all played well McGinn apart who I thought was average
really??
I thought McGinn was brilliant, a said in the group chat whatever happens tonight Dykes and McGinn need to stay on and it was so obvious how much we missed them both

Was with a mate last night and his lad was calling him at FT looking for recommendations to book London there and then

McGinn was the driving force, he was one of our best players. You must have been watching another game
Christie done nothing bar the goal but what a finish it was after i thought he'd blown the chance.

Booking a room when there's all night partying to be done. They don't make them like they used too.

a thought Christie was brilliant second half
Don't really bother about individual performances after a result like that.
Every Scotland player on the park last night carried the weight of 22 years of pain and expectation.
They all deserve massive credit.
The penalties were all top drawer too.

hard to argue with that mate, we controlled the full game first half of extra time aside

some observations from last night
Dykes is a great fit for us, an absolute grafter, his hold up play was superb.
That play allowed McGinn and Christie to push forward and was pivotal to our attacking play.
When they wen't off we died a death.
Declan Gallacher was superb
Callum Mcgregor was superb
Ryan Jack was superb
Thought O'Donnell had a great game.
David Marshall deserved every last bit of that.
Kenny Maclean has baws of steel
McBurnie is utter phish.
i don't know how anyone can think any of Christie, McGinn, Jack, & McGregor had anything but a great game tbh
McBurnie man, he worse than Oli Burke
No hangover but do have the beer schits. Gonna drag the dug to the pan and see how he likes it.

oho.
McGinn wasn’t great when he had the ball but his work rate and drive in there were important and we lost a bit when he went off.
Mcgregor and Jack were brilliant together, mcgregors interception for the goal was class.
Thought all 3 subs were crap when they came on but fair play McLean and Mcburnie although hope the latter never plays for Scotland again
Great result last night.
I thought over the piece McTominay played very well but their goal showed the problem with playing someone who isnt a natural CB at the back. McTominay just doesnt have that defend for your life instinct like Gallagher does.
We were excellent going forward over the piece. Dykes wont score a lot of goals but he is an integral part of that system. They couldnt handle him at all last night.
Thought Christie was outstanding and the rest of the midfield did well.
I wont dwell on it as it was a night of glory but putting McBurnie and Patterson on was two of the worst substitutions you could wish to see. My biggest issue is with Patterson who offers absolutely nothing.
I shudder to say it but a game like that was crying out for Ollie Burke. Whats the point in having him in the squad if he cant be trusted to run the ball into the corner for the last ten minutes? Putting McBurnie and Patterson on meant we had absolutely not pace up top and invited them on to us.
Apart from that - well done to Steve Clarke. No-one can say he isnt the man for the job now. It wasnt pretty but he got us there.
Hopefully the kant will cheer up a bit now
