Credit to the broadcasters for putting the pressure on the PL.
They only did because we are back in lockdown.
They did it because it earned more for food banks than it did for them. It was a PR disaster and probably ran at a loss.
Good.
Complete and utter ripoff and they probably saw evidence of vastly increased illegal streaming.
It is my understanding that even as close as Ireland had access to games on sky we don't have.
Or didn t I should say.
15quid was a thundering disgrace
Not good!
I will be watching a game, and paying for it. While others will be able to watch the same game, same broadcaster, on Pick, (at the time) for free?
I will be cancelling subscriptions.
😡
They got this sorely wrong. £4.99, no probs, even £6.99... but £15 FFS
The BBC always get Everton and Amazon get Palace.
They are obviously getting the last choices.

A fence erector.
They averaged 40k sales a ppv game so it’s actually a decent gesture by the PL,
Corporations with billions in the bank realise they've completely failed to understand their audience and have to backtrack. Great stuff.
Though I guess doing the right thing should be lauded.. even if they had to be shamed into it. And the greedy fackers did encourage over 300k worth of donations to the needy, so that's something I guess.
Shot themselves in the foot.
Increased the element of online streaming, which will result in fewer normal subscriptions.
A first year GCSE student doing a SWOT analysis would have come to that conclusion!
It wasn’t a Sky decision to PPV the games. It doesn’t benefit Sky to do that. It was a PL decision and Sky did the games at cost of production - didn’t make anything on them.
