United are toxic man. They never fully backed Mourinho and they never went all in building him the team he needed like every other club Mourinho has managed has done, like City did for Guardiola and like Liverpool did for Klopp. They basically handicapped him and expected him to compete with Klopp and Guardiola who had the full support of their clubs. Tottenham don't have as much money as United but at least they've done everything they can to buy the players he needs.

United also have a toxic squad. Too many players satisfied with competing for top 4 every year, never wanted to push themselves to the standard required to win titles. That's why they're so happy with Ole, he doesn't push them. Mourinho kept trying and trying to push them and it was like taking a horse to the water. You can't force it to drink.
